The second of two dives (the other was at the
Cathedral). The visibility on this dive was
fantastic - you could see the stern section (the deepest part) from the surface!
There were a lot of Sergeant Majors (small fish such as in
picture 3) around, and some of them were getting
very territorial - may well have been guarding breeding sites. Anyway, their
behaviour meant that I could get some good photos of them, even if some did keep
swimming right in front of the lens just before I took the photo! Investigating
under the wreck itself, I found a nice little swim-through, which was home to a
grey snapper (picture 5). On my ascent back, I
saw a little gap under one of the boilers that could have provided some
interesting photos - it did, but not for the reasons that I was looking for! On
the sea floor was a zebra slug, a brightly coloured mollusc that is quite common
in Bermuda (although this was my first).
