This dive was my first (official) dive for the Bio Station. It was again with the Coral Reef Ecology class, but this time the dive site was about 1km west of North Rock. The aim of the class exercise was for some students to collect algae samples, and others to count the fish population. Basically this dive for me involved setting up the transects with the class TA, and then swimming around until the allotted counting time had passed. The transects were then reeled in at the end of the dive.
