Only a few pictures taken at this site, and they were while
snorkelling. This dive was my checkout dive for diving on the Bio Station.
This site is a ship grounding scar, caused when the Mari Boeing ran aground on
26 December 1976. The site is now studied by students from the Coral Reef
Ecology class at BBSR, and they record how the corals and other fish species are
re-colonising the site .
