This was the first dive of the day, although I only had one
tank!! We swam through the cave known as Devil's Throat - its smaller than the
Cathedral itself, and there was a slight surge through it. This meant that we
could swim hard against the surge until we got close, and then the surge just
shot us through the cave - good fun! The Cathedral had it's resident population
of Glassy Sweepers (picture 6) loitering around the roof. After the Cathedral,
we went off around the surrounding reefs - saw a small Moon Jellyfish (no
pictures though...), and under an overhang was a very confused Four-Eyed
Butterfly Fish (picture 7). He swam round the lip and just followed the rocks,
and so ended up swimming around upside down! I'm glad I got this shot, as I got
caught by an unexpected current which pushed me into the rocks - I put out my
hand to stop it and cut my hand in several places. As if this wasn't enough, the
force of me pushing the rock moved me upwards, and hence I head-butted the
overhang! Still, at least I got the shot...
